Please see the attached Holiday Message of Thanks video below to see the wonderful opportunities that our enhanced music and arts program offers students in HRSB. Our class makes an appearance in the video at 1 minute 14 seconds in. Our students BBZ, JH and TC are having fun glazing their clay pottery at the pottery lab at Ecole St. Catherine’s back in November.
RP read aloud a book that she could connect to and had some characters named after family members. She added lots of fun expression for Rudolph’s character! Thanks for the candy canes for a snack!
CM read aloud one of my favorite Holiday Read alouds. Incorporating some giggles and humor into our day. Thanks for the candy cane snacks as well!
EA read aloud a story that we could really relate to. Thanks for sharing your book and homemade cookies with the class!
JH wanted to read aloud and record his holiday story in front of the Greenscreen so he could add a snowy background to complement his snowy story. His elf hat had some green in it – so it’s snowy On his hat. Thanks JH for sharing and getting us ready to enjoy some snow when it decides to stay on the ground.
LW kicked off some holiday story morning with a read aloud of “Santa’s 12 Days of Christmas.”
Our school will be participating in collecting Food Bank Donations for Feed NS from Monday, December 11th to Wednesday, December 20th. The Grade Six Classes are keeping track of how many items each class brings in, and the classes with the most items/student will receive a special holiday prize. This food collection and data collection ties into our Statistics Unit in class.
